American Councils is committed to supporting educational reform in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to providing its services to educational organizations, agencies, and concerns involved in educational programming and reform. American Councils is proud of its history in Bosnia and Herzegovina , and the strong relationships it enjoys with representatives of the governments of both Bosnia and Herzegovina and the U. S. , as well as with leading educational institutions in both countries. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, American Councils administers various programs of inbound and outbound academic exchanges, professional training for all levels of education stakeholders, faculty and curricula development, language learning, partnership programs, research, and alumni programming. American Councils administers the Junior Faculty Development Program (JFDP) and the Partnership for Learning Program (P4L) on behalf of the United States Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). We are more than capable of helping businesses provide scholarships or other educational ooportunities to their employees and their families. American Councils has a strong network of school and professional contacts throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina : US-trained alumni working and teaching in such fields as law, journalism, education, business, government, and European integration; faculty, teachers, trainers, and curriculum developers; and other consultants familiar with the problems and issues of the region and available to contribute to the goals of programs. American Councils networks of colleagues and program alumni are located in every canton of the country. These experts can be employed efficiently and cost-effectively to engage citizens in ongoing dialogues about education, partnership, curriculum and materials development, and programming; to provide in-country training; and to ensure strong links and networking among partnering organizations.
