On March 24-25, 2006, American Councils for International Education, with the assistance of the American Corner in Sarajevo, organized a Training Workshop on Grant Writing for Alumni of the Junior Faculty Development Program.

The training was designed to assist those who are going to be involved in the development and realization of any short-term or long-term project. It offered a theoretical introduction to the subject, but also gave alumni a practical tool by using of the LFA (Logical Framework Approach) to grant writing. The training was structured to follow the emergence of the project from the idea stage to its final design ready for the submission to funding agency.
