On January 28, 2006 American Councils for International Education organized a one-day workshop for BUDP alumni on career planning at the American Corner in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina. Mrs. Ellen McMahon, visiting teaching Fulbright fellow, conducted the workshop.

This was a five-hour session that assisted the participants in clarifying their career and personal plans through some activities that included clarifying personal values and interests and identifying how to meet most of those in the workplace. Most of BUDP alumni graduated from university or are at the end of their studies and main question they have is - now what? What should we do with our life? Mrs. McMahon helped them to get the ideas how to deal with problems they are facing now and how to invest in their future.

Building individual strategic plans with specific objectives to help participants meet their personal goals was one of the outcomes of the plan.
