Dr. Joseph Flory, Director of International Education at Radford University, visits Serbia

Professor Dr Joseph Flory, Director of International Education at Radford University, is now visiting our country at the invitation of Dejan Petrovic, JFDP alumnus.

Professor Joseph Flory met with Professor Dr Ljubisa Topisirovic, Vice-Rector for the International Relations Department at the University of Belgrade on May 10. Dr. Flory and Dr. Topisirovic agreed to sign an agreement of cooperation between the University of Belgrade and Radford University.

On May 11, Professor Flory gave a lecture at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences on the subject, “International Education in the USA - a Case Study of Radford University.”

Professor Flory will also participate at the international symposium, "Managing Organizations by Projects - the New Approach," which will take place in Zlatibor from 15-17 May, in association with the Project Management Association of Serbia and Montenegro, of which Organization Committee Dejan Petrovic, JFDP alumnus, is a member - http://www.yupma.org.yu/eng/ .

Also, at Dejan's invitation, Radford University's student Maranda Webb, who wants to find an internship in Serbia and Montenegro, will visit Belgrade in second half of May. She will most likely intern at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, where Dejan teaches.

In October 2006, Dr Dejan Petrovic will, at Radford University 's invitation, visit the university where he was based during JFDP, and give two lectures - one, “The Privatization Process in Eastern Europe;” and the second, “Transition of Eastern European Economies”.
