Alumni of the Junior Faculty Development Program (JFDP) invited their colleagues to a writing seminar conducted by an American English Language Fellow in Belgrade, Serbia & Montenegro. The English Language Fellow discussed MLA and APA formats, provided advice on technical writing for publication, and gave participants an opportunity to share and discuss writing samples. The purpose of the seminar was to promote new perspectives gleaned from JFDP alumni experiences in the United States, and to hone writing skills. Those participating summarized the discussion topics and plan to review the methods and techniques with other colleagues at their universities who were unable to attend this time.
