| American Experience |
Tell us about your time in the U.S. |
My American experience is completely positive. I am very satisfied with all opportunities that I met in the U.S. I gained new knowledge on environmental physics, modeling and atmospheric science. I am connected with some professors and researchers at the DRI and UNR. I found excellent conditions for researching, learning and teaching at my host university. I made a few friendships that I am still in every week correspondence with some of them. It is making me closely to my favorite place as Reno is.

How was your internship experience? |
I realized my internship at the Desert Research Institute/ University of Nevada Reno (DRI/UNR) learning extending my knowledge on UV radiation, modeling and preparing for project activities in general. It was a very useful and practical experience in the area of my wishing research as well as how to organize internship at my university.

| What were your impressions of the U.S.? |
The U.S. is a huge, rich and diverse country.
I like American style of life in university surrounding. I found all excellent conditions for doing research and high possibilities for professional development. I like democracy, openness and strong interest that students have for gaining knowledge. |
| Looking Ahead |
What are you working on now? |
At my professional level after receiving my Ph.D. in December, 2005, I am preparing for new tasks related to astronomy class that I started to teach.
I prepare a proposal for introducing a new class at the Sarajevo 's Department of Physics where I am employed. I work on its curriculum collecting materials that I need.
As my LIGP following up activities I started to organize my contact with colleagues for collecting papers for next book as a book in edition named “University in Transition”. |
| What are your plans for the future? |
I have a strong plan to prepare a textbook on introductory astronomy class and environmental physics that we do not have in Bosnian language.
I want to apply for receiving Fulbright award/scholarship that will help me to realize my plans for the future. |
